PLEASE HELP Rss

Hi, I have a 10mth old DD. In the last couple of weeks she has been doing poos that smell like Vomit on and off but today she has done 5 and atleast 3 (the ones i changed) have smelt like vomit.

Does anyone know what this could be from? She hasnt had anything new in her diet that she hasnt had before. She is formula fed so it not being passed on from me.

Could it be an intolerance to anything at all? Its 2 weeks to get into the Dr here or sit for about 5hrs in the waiting room for an emergency dr and then your lucky

Thanks heaps in advance

Could it be an acidic (sp) smell rather than vomit and they be teething nappies???? My DS napies smell very different when teething, has more than usual and they are of different consistancy.
Hey Jess, I know when Bella-Rose is teething her poop stinks like vomit, But also noticed too that certain formulas can make it smell, Bella-Rose has just been changed to Reflux formula & Michael was almost throwing up with the smell tonight hehehe, It has a decidedly "parmesan cheese" smell grin But I would still get her checked just in case!
Its that sickly sweet vomit smell. She has had 1 tooth just pop through but this hasnt happened before with other teeth or my other dd and it has been ongoing for a couple weeks.
Hmmm I would get it checked.. Maybe she has picked up a wee tummy bug or something!!
Hiya MrsBullfrog. I don't know if this will help as I'm unsure whether your DD is having dairy food, but my DD's poo smelled like vomit when she was eating too much yoghurt. I realised after a while that it was the yoghurt plus too much milk and stopped giving her so much of both (she rarely has yoghurt now and I've cut back heaps on the milk) and it has made the smell go away. Other than that, I'm not sure sorry. Hope you get some answers soon.
