I'm sitting on the couch watching my little guy, mr almost 4, finally sleep after the panadol has kicked in. This is his second day/night of high temps, sore tummy and feeling like throwing up. Poor little guy. I asked him before if he wanted a cuddle, his reply 'no, I just want to lie here and cry' sad I have no idea what is up with him, when he has panadol he gets better and is fine, but when it wears off the temps go up to 38.5-39.8, his little body must be fighting something off.

Hope he gets better soon

i'd be taking him to the doctors tomorrow if he's still got a temp. Even if it turns out to be viral, at least you know for sure, or he can get the medication he needs to get better.
If my son has had a temp for more than 24hours straight i take him to our GP.
Hope he feels better ASAP-nothing worse than a sick little dude! sad

Poor litttle guy, its awful when they are sick.

It is probably just some gastro / virus type thing that requires lots of mummy love, panadol and rest.

The good news is he's not actually throwing up - gotta look on the bright side smile

I dont think it calls for a Dr just yet, if he was to worsen and not be eating or drinking anything then yes but it doesnt sound too bad at this stage.

It's horrible seeing them when they are sick.

GBHs to you both, Its horrid to go through.. DD was sick last week & we were both miserable. Hope he gets better quick!!
