Cloudy urine? Any Nurses/docs around

I noticed yesterday that when my DD went to the toilet the very start of her urine was a cloudy colour and then went normal and when you look into the bowl it looked really cloudy.

She hasn't complained about going and said it's not sore. Could this be a UTI? She is well otherwise.
I will make an appointment at the doc when they open but any ideas before would be great.

Also should I get a sample to take with me?

Sorry, not a nurse, but I think if it's a UTI they'll generally need a sample, so definitely wouldn't hurt to get a sample. Might be easier than trying to get your daughter to do a wee while in the middle of your doctors appointment. Hope she goes ok when you take her to the doctor.

Thanks for the replies. I got her into the doc mid morning and no sign of infection, she had a look and there was no rash/ redness or discharge so everything looks good. Just have to keep an eye on it and if she gets a fever or unwell or if it gets worse then take her back.

Also I got a sample at the docs. As we were driving she told me she needed to go (luckily the doctors is not even 5mins away) so we got one as soon as we walked in the door.

Hopefully it goes away with plenty of water to flush things out. smile
