Where do you have your child's seat in the car?

Currently my daughter's seat is in the middle in both cars. However she is now 11.5kg and it is getting increasingly uncomfortable for both of us (and Dad). Thinking about moving them to behind the front passenger seat.

We always had DS behind the passenger, mainly as car seats seem to sit more snugly in the shape of the seat, secondly I get a sore back easily and he was a big baby/toddler. He's just been moved behind the driver so the 2nd bub can be behind the passenger. Reasons being it's closest to footpath, when in rear position you need more room behind the seat and we are tallish so need the seat back a bit more on the driver's side smile

hi my middle seat cant fit carseats very well as it is slightly risen so since my DD was born she has been behind the passenger seat, this is where plunket installed it and said it was teh next safest place, less likely to be hit in an accidet where as behind the drivers seat is more likely, when this baby arrives DD will have to go behind drivers seat so the baby can go in behind the passanger seat which I dont like really but dont have a choice. I think the youngest is better off in the safest position as they are likely to take it harder.

I have 2 kids now and have one on either side but i change them around a lot and when it stops raining again i will be putting my eldest (almost 3) behind the passenger seat and my baby (15months) in the middle again.

When i just had 1 though she was in the middle in all cars as i believe that to be the safest position

DS is in the middle i usually take him out through the front lol so i dont really have to lean in the car so it doesn't hurt my back and he is 12kgs
