so proud of my DD today

She had her first day at daycare today and it went so well smile

I am returning to work and having very mixed emotions about moving from SAHM to Working part time mummy. Asides from missing my littlest girl (well not so little anymore - she is 16 months!!) so much, I was worried about how she would go. The carers in her room made me a beautiful poster of her first day, photos and stories about what she did that I can have as a keepsake, it was very cute smile

No tears when I left, she played well, slept well, and was only a little sad during the day. Very proud of her and helping me to feel better about my decision.

aww that is great. was it your first day back at work today too??

I start work next week, I just wanted to give her a shorter day today and one where I could come and get her in case it all went wrong!!

It does make it eassier -I will still miss her heaps though, and being able to pick up my big kids each day. sad

But I am glad the staff went to some effort for her first day, makes me think she is in a kind caring centre.

Thank you, and I hope so with the centre. We visited a few times together and the staff always interacted so well with the kids which is such a good sign I think smile
