Huggies Jumbo Nappies Boxes - AUSTRALIA Rss

To all our valued Huggies members in Australia, we wanted to let you know about some important changes to our Huggies Jumbo Nappies boxes.

Despite our costs increasing over the past six years, we haven’t put up our list price of Huggies Nappies since 2006. However with our costs continuing to rise, Huggies Jumbo boxes will reduce in size by 6-9 nappies from mid April 2012. This change will only affect our Jumbo Crawler to Junior size boxes; our Newborn boxes will not change. We are also pleased to announce that Infant-size nappies will now be available in Jumbo boxes. To find out more about this change please click here. We thank you for your understanding.

Just like everything else these days, things get smaller but the price stays the same. The consumer is getting less value for money than ever.
Yay! Infant size will come in boxes! That'll come in handy with the next bub smile
Dont infant already come in boxes if 108?

Maybe huggies could do a cheaper nappy? Like give customers the choice of paying a bit extra to have patterns? Id happily pay less to get the same quality nappy but have it in plain white.

OOOHHH... INTERNET FIGHT. WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO? CAPS LOCK ME TOO DEATH?
(Noddy's not fat ffs!)

In Australia to date, Huggies Infant size nappies were available in packs of 32 and packs of 48. The Infant size will soon be available in the Jumbo boxes as well, which are packs of 96.

Thanks also for your product suggestions, we will be passing all of our member feedback onto the Huggies Team for their review. In regards to your question about a more affordable nappy, you might be interested to know that Kimberly-Clark Australia also produces Snugglers nappies, which have been a big part of Australian parenting for the last 35 years.
Snugglers are nowhere near the same quality as huggies. I've already decided to use MCN's for next baby to save money on how expensive nappies are!

Glad that infant nappies will be available in boxes!

This effectively equates to a price increase of 10%. Funny when many hard working parents work in sectors where they have to fight and fight to even get a 2% payrise. Huggies somehow think it ok to make such a significant hike in price. So I I know tell my kids to hold on for longer and go 10% less of the time to make up the differece?

This Huggies price rise is way in excess of cpi and at a time when many working families will be slugged by the carbon tax, changes to the private health insurance rebate system and I even heard on the radio today there is talk of means testing the 50% child care rebate. Everyone seems to have their hand in working families wallets these days.

Could not agree more! Makes me so mad!

Well said!! No comment from the Mod regarding the price/value for money.

They'll start making them overseas next.

So true sad

I'm with Nai & beau, we're using mcn's with our new bubba! Gotta save somewhere with all these rising costs (electricity, taxes, petrol etc...)

In Australia, despite our costs increasing over the past six years, we haven’t put up our list prices of Huggies Nappies since 2006. In that time however we have added 10% more nappies (8-9 nappies) into our Jumbo Boxes (except Newborn) and also invested in lots of improvements to make our nappies even better quality and value. Unfortunately with our costs continuing to rise, instead of taking a list price increase, we will be returning Huggies Jumbo boxes back to their original pack counts. We do try to provide value to our consumers in many other ways like through our Huggies Baby Club where we have lots of promotions and special offers, and our Facebook page. Additionally, we support charities and our local communities as much as we can. We have recently supported Foodbank by donating Huggies Nappies to support the QLD Flood Crisis Relief effort, as well as the Children’s Medical Research Institute.
