Omg!! guess what i just realised!!

Dd is nearly two and doesn't know the sound of a phone ringing!
I mean when they go "ring ring" lol.

Its not that I meant that to happen, its just that we both have mobiles so no needs for a landline. As shes very rarely been looked after by other people she hasn't picked it up from other places either.

I dunno if this is a problem or not :$

Nah no problem. We are the same. It's so nice not to have DD2 woken up by a phone ringing. smile I'm sure she will hear one eventually lol.

Lol my DS is almost 3 and we also don't have a landline so I doubt he knows either!

There are so many things this generation of babies are going to miss out on. DS uses the iPad at home so when I occasionally take out the laptop, he tries moving things around on the screen and doesn't understand why it doesn't work smile We don't have a landline either so he may not know how to use a phone apart from a mobile for a while. They are going to be way ahead of us in terms of technology thou so we really need to keep up!

We dont have a landline either. The first time DD1 heard the house phone ringing at nanas house she was 2, she froze & looked at me like 'what the hell was that?!'

DVD's are pretty much obselete lol you can put movies onto usb's or hardrives now and plug them into your dvd player laugh

DD knows what the phone is. Everytime it rings she goes OMG SALES AGAIN!!!
Am I the only one with a landline and not a mobile phone haha

Haha yep. I can't even remember the last time we burnt a movie or even bought a dvd for that matter blink Same goes with music. CHuck it on a USB and you can have up to thousands of songs all on one little stick. Can be rather convenient actually.

And I don't have a cell phone..... well I do but I haven't charged it for a long time because I can't find the charger and when I could I didn't check it anyway grin

I didn't know how to use a computer until 3-4 yrs ago and wouldn't know how to use an ipad or how to put things on USB sticks. We still buy dvds and the kids scratch them because we don't know how to put them on our PS3...... oh and I also don't drive a car and i'm 36!!!

I am waiting for horse and cart to come back into fashion wink

I don't drive either! Though I am learning < DH is sick of driving lol

Tigress our TV's don't have usb ports but our dvd players do. Pretty much nearly every new dvd player now has a usb port.
