Hi Lauraine,

Great idea ! Declan can be a handful at nappy changing time ! As soon as i see them in the supermarket i will pick up a packet and let you know what i think ! One question, will they will the same price as they regular nappies ?

Hi

Well I must say that I have been getting used to putting on nappies with toddler standing up LOL. However I saw the new huggies pants the other day and thought I would give them a try.

I think they are great. My toddler only wears nappies to bed but since getting him them he thinks they are pants and actually got up through the night and went to the toilet himself because he can pull them down and back up with no problems. And because he can pull them up and down we can used them for a couple of nights as he isn't ripping the sides off every morning when he takes his nappy off to go to the toilet.

Again I think the are fantastic.
Well done again Huggies.

I just got a pack, I love the pattern, fingers crossed we get no leaks from these!!

I have tried the new nappy pants and i really like them i dont think they are as bulky as the normal nappies and DD seems to ove around better in them and toys r us has them on special for $16 at the moment so i got them cheaper too.

the only problem i found is you can not use the tabs to close up the nappy after it is used so a bit harder to contain the mess.

Hi All,

We tried the nappy pants and i liked liked the idea of slipping them on rather than having to have my ds lying down for a change. The problem we found with them was the inside panels at the back(which are for containing a mess) seemed to rub on his ummm....buttocks!! and caused him discomfort. The panels lay down the middle of each cheek rather than hugging them like the normal nappys do. Not sure why this is but it made him itchy??I also discovered they didnt contain a sloppy poo well enough either..size wise, they seemed fine, so at this stage we will stick to normal nappies..

DS1,5yrs,DS2 2.5yrs..I love my beautiful boys!!

Hi everyone from Huggies

I have not tried them because I cant get them in a small enough size. My daughter is 2 1/2 and toilet trained but I never got to try them coz she is only 10kg. So they are not small enough for her. I have friends in the same situation. By the time she will be big enough to fit them she will be too old.

And they are a bit pricey

hi,

i was just on another thread and some asked what the difference between nappy pants and pull ups? so i thought i might pose the question myself so

what is the difference?

I cant use them either, my daughter isnt 13kg yet

Why do they only come in walker sizes?
Are they absorbant enough for nighttime? my DS just turned 3 and hates wearing nappies to bed but can't go without just yet, I have tried pullups but if has a bad night they leak as I don't think they're designed for too much as much wee as nappies. It's getting to the poing if he sees me put a blue pack of nappies in the trolley he puts them back on the shelf or tells the checkout operator we don't need them put them back!!

Hi

I just wanted to say that I love the Nappy-Pants!
I have been buying them for a few weeks now. I originally bought them because stand-up nappy changing was becoming very tiresome! My 16mth old is so busy - these are just perfect for him to run around in and I also think he loves the thought of wearing 'big-boy' pants..

My DD is 2 and only wears a nappy at night. She has recently been waking and asking to use the toilet at night but it such a hassle laying her down to take the nappy off and putting it on. It would be alot easier to put a nappy pant on her and pull it up and down easily when she uses the toilet. ARE these nappy pants ok to use at bed time???? We tried the pull ups but she wet through as she does still pee alot during the night. Does anyone have any experience in using Nappy pants of a night?
Hi
Nappy Pants are a good idea, and my nearly 3 year old being quite tall, easily fitted into the size. one problem i had was that we have to supply nappies at my sons day care, and the carers hadn't seen nappy pants before, so they thought they were pull ups, and sat my son on the toilet when it was time for nappy changes! Being no where near toilet trained, and with very limited speech, he just looked at them, wondering what they were doing! smile and of course, didn't produce anything in the toilet bowl! smile maybe market them at day care centres so they are aware of the difference? I have gone back to regular nappies for the moment, due to cost.

Hi, I love the new nappy pants for the idea of 'getting the toddler on the go", but they feel and look just like the old pull-ups. Do they have the same absorbancy as regular nappies?

I also wanted to try them but they didn't come in a small enough size for my daughter. Now she is potty trained except at night and they still don't fit and she is 3!

Hi there,

Please find below the Nappy Pant product information link, where you can read about the features of Huggies Nappy Pants.

Hope this helps.

My 2 year old is toilet trained for daytime, but still needs something at night. These have been great because he doesn't want a nappy anymore (he's a big boy now!) and the pull ups weren't absorbant enough for a whole night. Love them!
Hi,
just replying to your Nappy-Pants question. I have tried several packets of them, but I find that because I get less nappy-pants than a regular packet of nappies, they are too expensive - it doesn't make good fiscal sense to buy less of something just because its a bit different. I really think Huggies should think seriously about increasing the number of N-P's to be the same as regular nappies (and not decrease the number of regular nappies).

I did like them though, especially when at the park. My son (then 18mths) thought they were fantastic and enjoyed nappy changes instead of protesting as much as possible. We haven't used them at night though because I don't think they are a safe enough design, but at the same time, I didn't mind using nappies at night. They also became part of the night routine, which helped to establish the night routine.

Once Summer comes I will probably return to Nappy-Pants though simply because we spend most of the days (except 2-3hrs sleep time) at the park or outdoors and my Jack will be closer to toilet training and they will help get him used to wearing pants. I also think Huggies should say they are suitable for toilet training - what a market to miss. I know they have the Pull-Ups (which are great), but why deny the obvious cross-over market with these? Its not like Huggies is going to loose sales by having a rival product that is all its own...

Lastly, my Husband really enjoyed using Nappy-Pants and I think you'd have a great marketing tool there - aiming them at Dads, who are often nappy-savvy these days, but always like an easier product.

Hope my feedback & suggestions are useful - market towards Dads, utilise toilet training crossover & lower the price to equal that of nappies.

ciao

The good thing about them is that you can whip them down really quickly when he needs to do a wee at bed time.

The bad thing about them is, once they're dirtied themselves, you have to lie them down anyway!

Also, I don't find them tight enough around the tummy and my 3 yr old wakes up wet because he's weed out the top of the nappy during the night.

I've stopped using them and am sticking to the normal tab nappies.

I use Huggies Nappy Pants and I find them to be great! Tahlia likes wearing them as they are like underpants..and it has taken the hassle out of going from a nappy, not a nappy pant, to underpants a lot easier...keep up the good work Huggies.

No I haven't tried them..... They are way too pricey. I think the price of then is so ridiculous.
I tried them ..and as far as absorbancy gos they are the same as the ordinary huggies ...the only thing i diddnt like about them ......when you have a nappy full of poo and you are out somewhere ...you cant roll teh nappy up adn put the grip tabs over to keep it all together .....that is my biggest grip ....but for the price of them I dont think they are any better than an ordinary nappy

Glad I tried cause now I know...but wont be buying them again
No, haven't tried them and I seriously don't think I ever will. Once littlies are able to understand the 'feeling' and what that 'feeling' produces, why confuse them with thick 'underpants'? I'm for the old fashioned way...may be a little more washing but less impact on the environment. I believe we have an obligation in that area. That's my opinion.
I love them they are just like a pull up only with the absorbancy of a nappy. Its now the only pull up type that I will use on my daughter. The only problem as one mother has already suggested is that when they do have a number two in there is that after changing you can't use the tabs to keep the nappy all tight and contained.

How time flies!!

Yes I have heard of them, only about 1 month ago I myself was thinking why can you not get nappies that just pull on like pants? and hey presto huggies brings them out the next month, the only problem is is that my girl is still in crawlers, so I guess I will just have to wait until she get bigger and until then struggle at change time!
Hi, i just wanted to say HOW CUTE ARE THOSE NAPPY PANTS??!!
I got a sample in my box of walkers and they are so cute, lol!
I will definatly be buying some when my dd is abit older!
Hi Karl has just started walking and im finding the nappy pants an absolute life saver!! Karl is only 10months and 9.6kg, but he has thick thighs and the nappies for his weight range are way to small on him, so the nappy pants are a godsend!!!
Hi,
Just wanted to say I love the Nappy Pants. My son manages to wet through nappies of a night time as they tend to as he wets them sink down a bit but with nappy pants, they actually stay up, and they are great for when he goes to creche as he can play a lot more freely without the bulk of a nappy. The other great benefit is he has learnt how to undo normal nappies, he hasn't worked nappy pants out yet!! The only problem that I have with them is the price!!! They are when not on special, $22!! When they are on special they are about the same price for 25 as a pack of 40 nappies!!
They really are great, but please make them cheaper!!
