I have been told that when I change my 10 1/2 month old to full cream milk I should water it down - is this correct and what is the purpose of this.

if your going to give it to them, jsut give it to them. There are all sorts of crazy theories surrounding doing this - but they are all just that theories.
If bub doesnt like it, then i would suggest mixing with some breast milk/formula (whichever you use) & go from there.
