3 1/2 year old still not night TT'd. Rss

Ava is 4 in September and she still isn't toilet trained at night.

I haven't even bothered to try yet because she NEVER wakes up with a dry nappy - it is always soaking wet.

Should I just take the plunge, or is it still early days?
hmm it's a though one, maybe plan a week so you have plenty of time to think and wash sheets etc and take the plunge. Is she a heavy sleeper?

Make sure she does a wee before bed and leave the bathroom light on for her, explain to her that if she needs to do a wee she needs to get up and go to the loo like she does in the daytime, or to come wake you up or something. I'm sure once you give her a go at it, she may take a couple of weeks to get used to getting up.
Sorry that's all I've got and what we did with our little man.

ETA: I found that if we DID put a pull-up on our boy, he'd wee in it regardless... kind of like, he knew what the pull-ups were for so didn't register to use the toilet and once he realised he had his undies on he was fine and went to the loo by himself

Hi With my DD she had full nappy by the morning. But I gave it a go she
would wake up from wetting so we would change her clothes & sheets.
But in a few weeks she was trained.

How ever my DS he is 4 years & 2months old & not night tt.
I also tried him he would sleep all night & wake up very wet.
Tried for about a 1 week got sick of washing everyday.
So he back in pullup. Not fair as they cost alot & only get like 13 nappies.

They say if there were bed wetting in the family your child could be the
same. I hate to say I also wet my bed I really don't know what age I stop but was very bad.

My Neighbours there DD is 10 years old & she wets her bed.
I really feel sorry for her as I know what it's like.

Good luck Amanda.
