Problem with the new Huggies nappy design.

Just wondering if anyone is having any trouble with the new Huggies nappy design???

My son wears the Junior nappies to bed at night (toilet trained during the day). We have just opened a new packet of these nappies and every morning since he has woken up very wet. Through his pj's and bed linen.

I have always sworn by Huggies nappies, I love them. I hope they aren't going to let me down now.

I have the same problem with my daughter she is in Junior ones as well. We have tried a double nappy and she stays dry that way.

I think they have changed the design as we never used to have a problem.

Sorry to say but I'm the opposite. Jebs in the walkers nappies and I have found the new design better. He used to wake up wet on average every second day but since starting the new pack for over a couple weeks now, he's only woken up wet once. I thought it was going to be worst as they seem thinner but for us, they are great. Sorry I couldn't help.

My son is in walker size and so far I am not impressed with the new design. The old ones were great if its not broken don't fix it huggies. They don't seem to hold as much and also they don't seem to hold the wee odour. Only ever smelt the wee smell with a really full nappy but now I can smell it when its only a tiny bit.

i did a complaint to huggies via email on monday
So dissapointed in this new design, my wee man is in walker , and twice so far the nappies have gotten past the leakage- and the gel has spilled out, not a teaspoon full- but a whole hand ful sad
if it isnt the gel coming out, its a full change of clothes and nappy at 4am. im getting a replacment sent out as i type, i just hope i dont have any more issues.

We use the newHuggies walker nappies on our son and not only do they continually leak, but the new design is terrible! It is very noticeable that these new nappies are much thinner than the previous design and everything from the design to the printing on it looks cheap. I dont know if its a cost cutting idea but I dont like it and from everyone elses comments on here neither do they. I hope Huggies listens to its customers and improves their latest nappy, otherwise we will have to find another nappy to use. We have used Huggies since 2007 continually and it would be a shame to have to look elsewhere.

Just a thought, you guys aren't using the parallel imported ones from the UK? Because I know when I used them once (because they were cheaper) and they were crap! I'm not sure about the NZ Huggies having the same problem, as I'm not using them at the moment... He he it's what ever is cheapest for me tongue

Hi, some of the walker size for boys are imported from the US (a once off I was told when I rang them) so check on the box to see, the nappies to look a bit different (in colour) and it should say on the box where it was made

I recently bought a box of these and they aren't as good

hi kylie! yes my little one has walker huggies and same issue... its like they've been a little scarse on the absorancy of the nappies! we love our huggies but they dont seem to last all night anymore sad

I am also very unhappy with the new design, through the day they are ok but my son has woken up every night since wearing the new design drenched to his neck with urine..... Not happy especially with it being so cold at night wear I live and his room gets down to 8 o......
I have never had a leaking nappy overnight till now and have only ever used huggies nappies on him. I am upset that huggies have changed what was a perfect product to me to an absolute useless product. If these new designs remain the same I will be trying other brands.....
