I have a 3 and a half year old daughter who up until recently was seeing her father every second weekend, he has contacted me to say he can't have her for a while, any ideas on how to tell her???

why can't he see her? can he come visit her at yours during the week or something? its a bit harsh...... if he is away can he skype her or something>?

We had to go through the courts to sort out visitation and he is only suposed to have her at his mums but contacted me a few days ago to say he cant go to his mums anymore and i havent heard from him since.

is he not allowed to have her on his own? can he come to yours and visit>? or is that not a good idea?

He doesnt feel 100% comfortable having her on his own, he could come to my place but hes probably too stubborn to ask. His mum has asked to have her for a while so hopefully she might see him then.

be honest with her, just say that he is very busy and will come see her soon, that doesnt mean the next day or week, i find it hard to tell my 2 year old son were his dad is. you could always get her to call him to ask when he is coming to see her, if you would allow that
