Dad gets 'no'

My 3 year old daughter is really clingy to me and everything is 'I want mum!'... She doesn't let her father go near her most of the time (unless she wants something). She can be all over him one minute and then won't let him near her the next. My poor husband gets quite upset by this and so do I. I've tried to talk to her to ask what the problem is but she won't say anything. She's pretty much the same with everyone besides me - but if I'm not there she's fine with whoever is with her (father, grandparents etc). Is this normal behaviour? I worry they won't bond...

From what I have heard, it is very normal up until the age 5.

My DD is exactly the same, even tho she is younger (22 months). She is starting to get more dad friendly... I think you have to let huuby know that it is only a phase and it will pass!

Yep, my DD is the same! A real mummy's girl - if I am there I have to be the one to do whatever it is that she needs doing. If I'm not around she's fine with whoever is looking after her.
