you could do just a normal round/square cake and buy little sugar craft ballerinas?

That is very cute!! That sounds a lot easier than the ones I've goggled! I'll see if I can find someone closer that makes them.

try a local cakeshop they might have some in there if not they might even make you one smile
Thanks for the ideas everyone. I have found some little plastic ballerina's cheaply on trademe. Have decided just to make a pink cake with flowers or something and put the ballerinas on top
