first birthday presents

My DD's first birthday is in early May and I'm throwing a small Princess Fairy Tea Party but I'm still stumped on what to actually get her for her birthday, she has a charm bracelet so I will be adding to that but I was thinking of toys and don't really know what type I should get her that will last her for a while PLEASE HELP!!! blink

My DD got a good quality wooden rocking horse from her grandaprents, shes now nearly 4 and still plays on it.

Its something that can be passed down aswell and that future children can play with.

My DD got some of the fisher and price little people when she was quite young and I was surprised but she did like playing with them early on and we have built on her collection.

Mega blocks to start building (with help)

A shopping trolley, dolls pram, etc something that she can push around as she will probably have not long been walking or in the process of about to walk in the near future

I got my son a activity table and he still loves it .My parents got him a little truck which you sit on and ride .He has only just started to understand that you ride the truck .

A dolls house; she may be a bit young, but my niece has always loved my dolls house ever since she was little & it's the first thing she goes to when she visits.

my kids loved a little tykes rocking horse I picked one up second hand..it was the best present ever and my 4 year old cam ride it! I have since given it to a friend for her daughters 1st birthday and she loves it also!
Fisher price dolls house was great to!

DD was given the fisher price glow seahorse thing that plays soft music and it's tummy glows. it's a sleep aid and from about 14 months she adored it!! She loves her blankie and her sea horse to get to sleep- it was probably the best thing she got and has held her interest the longest.
