5th birthday
dd1 is turning 5 soon and has invited about 9 kids to her party. So far I have hired a bouncy castle, and am thinking of doing cupcake decorating, any other ideas?

Depends how long your party will go for, but given how much kids would like both of those activities that might enough? Or maybe just a little party game as well such as pass the parcel. Or if you did want another "activity" you could set up a craft table.
As previous post said, depending on the length of the party, maybe activities like pass the parcel, pin the tail on the donkey or a scavenger hunt? smile
Is it over lunch? Maybe make your own pizza? Have all the toppings on the table and at the start of the party have the kids make their own up.
Also you could just have a soccer ball out there and other activities the kids can just pick up and play as they go.

Sounds like a fabulous party already! Kids enjoy free play too.
Other some face painting/bobbing for apples/treasure hunt/lucky dip or guess how many jelly beans in the jar...

Thanks. smile I'm always nervous they'll be bored!!! I think we'll also do a treasure hunt and DD wants to do pass the parcel. I think that should be enough and if not then I'll grab some balloons as back up and we can always play musical statues etc.
