Do you celebrate anniversaries Rss

Today is anniversary, I have booked dinner and organised baby sitters, should I buy a present, if so what?
No we don't, we go out for dinner but that it now. Hubby said he rather spend money on a night out then buy cards and a gift.

Seeing as last years was leather/crystal he bought me a swarovski crystal heart pendant on a leather necklace! Thoughtful!!!!
We do. smile
We always try and go out for dinner or lunch, or at least do something together.
We also buy each other traditional anniversary presents as mentioned above. This year was our 5th, which is wood, and we really needed a bookshelf in the lounge, so we saved up and got a really nice one and said that it can be our present to each other!
Yes we do smile I love anniversaries lol.
We usually go away for a few days and we buy each other gifts! We go way out for our wedding anniversary and have a big family lunch or dinner to celebrate it a few days before! Now we have DS we also buy him a few presents too.
But that's just us we feel out wedding anniversary should be the most important celebration.
Our friends also do the same and we buy them gifts evey year for their wedding anniversary.
We usually do something special together, don't buy gifts really.
Yes, we celebrate our anniversary smile
This year DH and I both had the day off work and spent the whole day together, went out for breakfast, walked on the beach, saw a movie and went out for dinner.

We decided to only buy each other a gift every 5 years. On the other anniversaries DH buys me flowers and I bake him something truly decadant smile
We would rather spend the money on doing something together than buying "stuff"

Enjoy your night out smile
