Our favorite is My Dad, we also have My Mum, but it doesn't get read half as much. I think my kids are trying to tell me something, lol.
My sisters keeper is about a girl whose sister has Lukeimia (sp) and they want her to donate her kidney and she goes to court to stop it

Plain truth is about an Amish girl who gives birth to a baby and it somehow dies and no one knows how she hid her pg

I can send them to you if you like so you dont have to buy them
I got Terri Irwins book for christmas, It was a pretty interesting read....

Well they sound better than The Tenth Circle. I'll have a look for them. I won't get you to send them, it's too much trouble. But thanks Hun.
My advice is go to the book shop and look at the top 10 books. Have a read of the blurb and pick a book from there. Or click on this link- it gives a top 100, weekly top 10 and recommendations....

I like all different genres of books but haven't had a chance to read any lately. The last book I got to read was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

I love the Irwins, but Terri annoys me for some reason. I mean, I do like her, but I don't think I could read her, lol.
If you like biographies:

the White Masai - story of a woman who fell in love with a Kenyan Warrior, then had to escape with her daughter to Switzerland.

Behind Closed Doors - child abuse story by two sisters.

The Terri Irwin Book was an awesome read.

I speed read, and read a book within 2 hours - it is a very expensive hobby, normally buy a book a week...my NY resolution was to join the library which I did two days ago.

I read quickly too MumofJ&M, But it still takes me at least a day or two.

Thanks for the link Dee, I'll have a sticky beak after I have my shower.
** forgot to add that is if uninterrupted of course!

Which with DD is very rare these days!

Mills and Boons are great to waste a couple of hours.
They can be so painful tho. lol

lol. It takes me about 2 months to read a book. I have never really been a reader. In my whole life, I have read ONE novel, from front to back.

I want to go buy a book now today too! I havent bought a book in ages. I love the true crime stories.
Road To Paradise by Paullina Simons. Mary, you'd love it.
A great book is 'Infidel' by Ayaan Hirsi Ali. It's a true story about a muslim girl who grew up in war torn Somalia. It's a great book, a little political at the end, but fantastic. She also has another book called 'The Caged Virgin' but I'm yet to read it.

What do you need a good book for when you have Huggies???? LMAO
Anything by Paullina Simons is good, but Tully is my favourite book EVER. Joy Dettman is a pretty good bet, too- Henry's Daughter was great. Happy reading.

How about letting us know wat you normally read?
I love my fantasy so i am a fan of authors like David Eddings and Isobell Carmody.
I love their books The Belgarid and the Obernewtyon Chronicles.

I am a fan of series.
I also got the terri irwin book for xmas that was good i also got Jackie collins lovers and players i couldnt put it down real good read

Larissa Charlotte Brayden

I am currently reading The Persimmon Tree by Bryce Courtnenay and so far so good. One of my favorites is Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden, A MUST READ. Another one I read recently is The Other Boleyn Girl by Phillipa Gregory, which is a great historical novel about Henry VIII and some of his lovers/wives.

I got given the Schappelle Corby book for Chrissy - interesting...... Also a cute book is The Yummy Mummy's Ultimate Family Survival Guide.

I Love Lynda La Plante too. Also just read The Pilots Wife - it's an Oprah's Book Club book - pretty good - can't remember the author but writes a few books.

I have a Dymocks voucher so any suggestions from all you lovely ladies would be welcome too!!!!
My recommendations are:

Girls Like You by Paul Sheehan
Marley and Me, sorry can't remember author
Hidden by Cathy Glass

All are FANTASTIC books. I am not a big reader, but I couldn't put these down!
I'm reading 'My Steve' By Terri Irwin at the moment. I was never a huge fan of Steve himself, but love all the work they do for animals. So far I've found it a surprisingly great read.
