The Memory Keeper's Daughter Rss

THIS IS A FANTASTIC BOOK.

It's set in about the 60's and is about a doctor who's wife goes into labour at night, there's a snow storm & they don't make it to the hospital, instead he stops at his clinic and has his nurse come in to help. The wife delivers twins, and the boy is fine, but the girl he recognises as having 'Down's Syndrome', he asks the nurse to take the baby to an institution, and tells his wife the baby died at birth...... The story is over a 25yr period and is an absolutely amazing story.

Kim Edwards is the author (I think).
Tan, my friend was telling me about this book....and she said it is amazing as well...will have to get a copy smile
I haven't read this one but I would reccomend 'the time travellers wife' I thought it was a great read and a friend who has read both says that they are written in a similar way.
