Looking for a book... Rss

Hi,

I was looking for a book which will help my 19 month old daughter recognise different moods and expressions. Is there any book out there that talks about different moods such as happy, sad, angry etc. which is appropriate for her age?

Thanks.
Cheers!
Have you seen the books by Catherine & Laurence Anholt? They have a number of different books on emotions & moods, - "What makes me happy?" and "Good days Bad days".

Tracey Moroney has different books for specific emotions - eg. "When I'm feeling sad", etc, which are lovely. They might be a little old for your 19 month old though, but you could read them with her & explain things to her level of understanding.

If you're looking for expressions, then "Baby's Busy World" has a double page with photographs of babies with different expressions.
Hi there!

Thanks for that. I came across this book Today I Feel Silly: And Other Moods That Make My Day - Jamie Lee Curtis. Anyone read it?

The Tony Parr books are good. He has one called Feelings, but there are a whole series of them. Nice, bright and very clear.
I have the Trace Moroney books "When I'm Feeling" series. There's Loved, Jealous, Kind, Lonely, Sad, Angry, Scared, and Happy. They are just beautiful. My little one is only 6 months old but I have them in her book collection for when she gets abit older. They are published by The Five Mile Press.
there is a book by Trace Moroney called The Big Book Of Love there r all different topics u can get them at Big W Scared Angry Lonley happy Friendly there are heaps.

I bought a couple of these books cos they have gorgeous pictures and DS (nearly 3) loves them. Big W sell them.
