Hello everyone

I was just wanting to know what anyones opinion is on buying Baby Love by Robin Barker.

Is it a must read as it says it is or a waste of money?

Absolute must read.

I read this from cover to cover (even though you're not meant to - it's not a novel!) It's Australian which I think is important and the index is huge, hard not to find what you're looking for. I still refer to it a few times a month, even though my baby is now a toddler. I had no idea what to expect from my new baby at the time and this book was invaluable.

You can always pick up a copy on ebay if you don't want to spend too much.

I swear by this book. My head was buried in it for my first 9 months of motherhood. My son is 14 months now and I still revisit it now and then. I got it from Big W. Its a bit cheaper than Book Stores. Will definately be money well spent.

Yes, definately a must buy. I didn't read it from cover to cover, rather used it as a reference book when needed and generally agreed with the advice. It seemed to point me in the right direction.

Definately a must read and being Australian too is even better. I started reading this even before i had my baby. I work in a book store so i recommend it often.

I agree, a must have, many a night it saved me, when my newborn for eg made bizarre sounds whilst sleeping, when he became constipated, tried her remedy and never looked back and also when he got a cold..

she gives practical advice without being a hardliner (as some of the childhood nurses).........just a great reference check when your baby does stuff that's new.....

Get it, you won't regret it.
