Best Pregnancy Book for New Mum's Rss

Hi!
I have been reading 'Up the Duff' by Kaz Cooke, and I think its great! It's really easy to read, and had me laughing to myself. I like the week by week format - i read the whole thing through, and now read the week that I'm up to.
Being my first pregnancy, I can't comment on how accurate all the info is - anybody have any views on this? But did find it easy to read, I have found other books are too technoical and formal and I tend to lose interest quickly.

Howdy,

I haven't read that one, but I've got Kid Wrangling by Kaz Cooke, it's the next book in line I guess - it's great, really funny but it's so real and down to earth.

Might tray Up the Duff this time, I read What to expect when your expecting last time, but i've since given it away. If this is anything like her other book, i'm sure i'll love it.

Up the duff is great...and so is the kid wrangling one (for once bub is born).

Baby Love by Robin Barker was also a great book for baby's 1st year.

I'm reading all of these at the moment (am pg and have a 10mth old)
Hi, i bought up the duff, kidwrangling and babylove when i was pregnant. My first DD is now 4 mths old. Up the duff was a great light hearted read. But, i had a few problems during my pregnancy and found that up the duff wasn't all that helpfull as the info was sometimes limited. I found babylove by Robin Barker to be more informative and have used it heaps during pregnancy and since DD birth. Its good because it is in sections - the first 3 months, 3-6 months etc. I would recommend that one!

DD born 17/08/2007

if you want a help full book and one that really helps you with alot of information get this book CONCEPTION, PREGNANCY, BIRTH BY DR MIRIRAM STOPPARD. this book was very help full. but it all depends on what person you are.
