Does Dad get involved in Baby bath time?

Every Day: 36%

My partner is the only one who baths our bub.

I gave her her first bath and then from there there was no looking back, he took the role on and still has 9 months later. So I have only ever given her the one bath and i think that is because he was worried about bathing her that first time.

He feels that because i got to breastfeed I bonded with her that way, so bathing is his bonding time. And they both just love it so much... they splash around for ages in there. Its so cute.

Gives me some mummy time too which is always lovely.

My partner and I alternate bath days. Though we have only started doing this the last 2 months as Jiah used to think Charlie was too small for his clumsy hands (nice excuse)

My husband is also the only one that baths Molly... He's just always done it from when she was born and I think that he really loves the quality time with her... She's really use to him being there and I notice that she definately doesnt splash as much if I have to do it!
I think that its important for the dads to have that one on one and it also gives mum a nice break!

My hubby does get involved with baby bath time. At first he wasnt really involved on a daily basis, but this changed over those first few months.

When my dd attended swimming, we learnt a lot of new songs, so i typed them up and they are stuck to our bathroom door so that when hubby does do bathtime these days, he has somethiing to use if he wants. Otherwise, they just sit and 'chat' about their day and splash around.

It is a nice time for them to be able to catch up, especially if bub goes to bed not long after partners get home. It buys back a bit of time for them I think!

WA - gorgeous little girl

my partner has not once bathed our daughter
My bub has his bath before his dinner feed, and his dad will alway bath him unless circumstances prevent this from happening. Hubby enjoys it as it gives him some time with bub as he is at work all day.

Lochie and Abbey''s mum

Occasionally

My partner does most of the bathing smile

Most days, He works shift work so some days it's not possible. If he is home it is their time together, I get handed the wet child afterwards to dry and dress then off for more daddy time. Try and stop him if he is home.
my partner doesnt bath our 4 month old daughter and he sometimes baths our 26 month old son.

3 lovely kids
