SCRAPBOOKING...

Hey ladies!

i'm starting a scrapbook for my first, and iv'e actually got nout ideas..?? Does anybody have any idea's on how to start these, what to add... decoration ideas etc...

I have everything i need, just don't know how to start!!

im in the same boat as you, ive overfilled my house with scrapbook stuff but havent even started any! the ideas are there!!!

that has HEAPS of cool ideas, or you could get the scrapbooking magazine or even hire them out from the local library, do research on the internet smile

Hi, I joined a Creative Memories group. We meet up once a month and scrapbook together. It is lead by someone, so they are really helpful with ideas. I also tend to get ideas off watching what everyone else is doing. It is a nice way to spend time organising your photos and it gives my husband some nice one on one time with our daughter while I am at the class.

Im making 2 scrapbooks.

First on is while baby is in the womb (more about us, our journey through our pregnancy, who is who in our families, any scans, letters from midwife etc. Photos of my bump, just everything!)
Ive set it out so i do it month by month.

My second one, will be when DD is here.
I find it easy to just start with photos. Print out all your photos that you want, put them in order due to the date, then go from there. You can set up different themes that suit the photos as you go along.

I also sometimes edit my photos before i put them in the scrapbook.

www.picnic.com is a really good site. Think its $20 round about for a years subscription. I pretty much live on there haha

I've been doing scrapping for awhile now, it's like therapy for me
At the moment I have 3 projects, my wedding, overseas holiday as well as album for my 14mo.

It's a lot of fun, I do find it's easier to start with what photos you want to choose, I often get them printed in wallet size, you can fit lots on a page then.

I do find it's best to keep it simple, I don't like too many embellishments. I also like to make up kits - with some patterned paper, embellishments(I like ribbon, flowers rubons etc) that match the photos, then it's easy to grab it to do scrapbook.

I also like to use sketches, these give ideas for photo layouts - do a search on the web.
