Patterns - NZ Rss

Hi ladies, I'm just getting into sewing, not as a business but just want to make a few things for DS and my niece and nephew (have already made a cute little merino sweatshirt!) but didn't realise patterns were so expensive!! Does anyone know where to get them cheaply (a good website for example)? Didn't fancy paying nearly $20 at Spotlight for one pattern sad

I've seen big boxes of them at second hand shops... might take some patience going through them though smile
Trademe has some cheap. Also if you google 'Free sewing patterns' there are some to download and print

Maybe check out the spotlight page or lincraft. Google free patterns. Good luck. Hope you find something
I get my sewing patterns from Arthur Toye in Palmerston North. They have half price most times of the year, and are usually around $8. The ladies there are really good at helping choose appropriate fabrics too. I imagine they would be the same price all over NZ
