Wooden letters/ mdf letters raw for decorating???? Rss

Hi,
Does anyone know where you can buy cheap raw letters for decorating, in bulk??
Does anyone have any experience with selling decorated letters? ie Kids names/home etc??

Thanks

You can generally buy them from Spotlight, Bunnings and craft shops although they arent very cheap. I think I paid around $8 or so dollars per letter at Spotlight for mine. Maybe check the jumble shops like the $2 shop, reject shop, etc...
You cna buy from off ebay painted for around $12 I think. Have a look on there for some ideas.
Sorry if I am not much help

Nic

I run a scrapbooking supply shop and have access to wooden letters from my suppliers. I don't carry any in stock but I can have them within a week of ordering them.

If you would like to have a look at some, go to http://www.kaisercraft.net/general-craft/kaiser-wood-shapes. At the bottom, you will see the letters. They come in medium (60mm) and large (90mm). If you want to buy in bulk, each letter is sold in multiples of 6.

I'd be happy to send through a quote if you let me know exactly what you are looking for.

alphabits.com.au scrapbooking - ask me about it ..

Hi there,
Thanks for the reply - yeah i have checked the retailers and they are just so expensive.... i want to sell the creations i do at a reasonable price (i mean i wouldnt pay for $6 a letter plus embelishments and labour- My DD has a 7 letter name, thats like $100 which is rediculous!) I really want to sell them at an affordable price as they are something lovely that should not be exclusive to the rich lol but i also need to turn a profit worth doing it for - Time wise it takes forever lol
I need to get them in bulk as i assume they will be cheaper and will be worth the efforts.
Thanks Nic - i will see how much the junk shops retail for.
Mshell WA - i will PM you as am very interested! Thanks.

We make and sell custom made wooden letters, wooden words and printed signs for baby room decoration.

I hope I am not breaking any rules posting alternative link to KaiserCraft letters which are made in China btw. Our products are made in Australia, come in different sizes and fonts and are cheaper than those made by KaiserCraft.

Have a look at http://www.decoroo.com.au
