Cooking to seduce!! Rss

I want to do a three course meal for DH...something impressive and sexy laugh

Was wondering about garlic prawns & bruschetta, was thinking about pork ribs cos we love them but think it doesn't go with the entree?? What do you think? I think I need more of an Italian inspired main...any ideas?

And dessert, I don't know - chocolate fondue with strawberries and marshmallows is always yummy (and easy lol) but I'm open to suggestions?

So, does anyone have a killer garlic prawns, bruschetta or dessert recipe?

Thanks for reading, hope I made sense (so tired today!) laugh

What about Bruschetta

Garlic prawn Pasta

And I'd go with the choc fondue....very romantic!

Yum garlic prawns!!!

The last couple of times Ive done prawns Ive done garlic/chilli/lime ones and they're YUM!

I chop up garlic and chilli really fine, add some lime zest the put it in a mortar and pestle with a bit of sugar, fish sauce and lime juice and squish it all together. I toss the prawns in it and fry them really quickly in butter and oil smile Sometimes I put a bit of chopped corriander in them too.

They have a nice thai flavour and everyone always loves them.

ooooh and choc foundue sounds YUM!!!!

No worries! I wish I was coming over for dinner, bruschetta and fondue are two of my favourite foods!!!
I do a really nice creamy garlic prawns. I fry up the prawns in butter & minced garlic (to your taste), then once they are nearly cooked, I just pour in some thickened cream (normally about 300ml but I love the sauce) and bring it to a simmer until they are cooked through. Serve it over some steamed rice with some sliced spring onions for garnish. You can also add chilli into it if you like chilli!

Does your DH like jaffas? I have a REALLY nice jaffa tart recipe of you're interested? It's very rich so I just serve it with some whipped cream.

Thanks girls! Yum, I might have to try both types of prawns and taste test them by myself first, what a shame lol

Sal, I LOVE the idea of the Jaffa recipe if you have time to share? Thank you smile
