Whipped cream

Hi everyone smile
Just after some quick advice. I'm whipping some fresh cream for a sponge cake I made this afternoon. I want to add some icing sugar to the cream When do I add it?

ok silly question coming right up but why do you use iving sugar in the cream I have never done it?

t make it sweet i use regular sugar though

oh I don't use sugar either I just use cream lol I thought it was a trade secret thet I didn't know( well I don't lol) but never have I complained it isn't sweet enough grin

yeah its all a matter of your own personal taste i dont mind either way but i do like it with sugar

Good job on the cake, I've never tried making a sponge- I've been told they're really hard with the mixing etc.. Plus you can't open the oven too much etc. I've been scared off them lol have you got a pic to show us?
