Cake recipe I need help please :)

Ladies I need some help please smile I've been looking for a recipe to make a layered rainbow cake but so far google isn't doing it for me lol
I would like a recipe that uses SR flour and not too much butter. So far most of them need like half a tonne of butter and my hips don't need that lol
I want to use food colouring to colour the different layers and between the layers will be sweetened whipped fresh cream and the outside will be iced with betty crocker frosting.

If anyone has a basic cake recipe that would be suitable and you would like to share I would be extremely grateful. Thanks in advance smile

I was on the net and had a quick look for you, here's some site's i came across.

From the look of it all you really need to do is make a basic vanilla or butter cake mix and devide them up and add your colouring.
