PRAMS! Rss

Hi all, just wondering what prams you use and which ones you recommend?
Also I am looking at the love n care Capella cony pram, but just wondering if anyone else has used one?
Thanks!
Don't know about that one. But just wanted to say I think a pram is the one thing you can't "scrimp" on IYKWIM. I tried to go cheap and as a result have hated my pram ever since I started using it. But I don't want to fork out more money for another one. And make sure you test them really well - push them around, fold them up and down, lift it up etc.
I have the Strider plus its great because u can buy all the attachments and easily add the extra seat when you have #2 they are a bit expensive but totally worth it in my opinion. My 2 are now 3 and 15months and can both still sit in either seat comfortably.

good luck pram shopping is something i don't enjoy lol

i have three prams, isnt that rediculous! by best on is my Baby jogger city Classic, thay r fantastic longer canopy to cover bubs head and shoulders from sunlight, fold in half by pulling a handle just near where bubs sits bUT it has safety latches that you can button up so that the pram cant be folded whilst baby is in it or out of it! Very good pram cost about $499- 699 i know that is expensve but well worth the money.
takes up minimal boot space to.
Also there are three different types in the CITY range The city mini is also fantastic but doesnt come with the pump up tyres, then theres the CIty classic or the City elite!
up to you i guess happy searching!

See, I kinda think the opposite. I bought a nice pram (2nd hand and it didn't cost much thank goodness) but DD rarely went in it. She and I both preferred the ergo or mei tai carriers. I think maybe borrow a pram or buy a cheapie until you know if your bub will be a "pram baby".

The only advice I would give is to stay away from the Childcare Discovery prams... I had one & it was horrible, The backrest would collapse back if DD was sitting up in it & the brake would constantly fall down onto the wheels while I was walking... I now have a Peg Perego Uno (brought 2nd hand off Gumtree) and its amazing!!!
I have the steelcraft acclaim, and I think its great and reasonably priced as well, I paid $350 for it 2 years ago. I haven't had a problem with it yet and its just about to be used for bub #2.

Or it could depend on your lifestyle. I did HEAPS of walking after my bubs was born, it was great for weight loss, but I was fighting to keep the pram on the footpath most of the time cause I couldn't lock the 2 back wheels so it would always veer off to the sides!
