do you regret... Rss

hello me again laugh

i was reading a story once an it said that 1 in 10 people regret some aspect of the name they have chosen for their baby

do you regret any part of your babies names?
do you know anyone that does?

i dont regret any part of isiahs name at all
Absolutely not I love my kids names. smile grin
I do regret naming my ds (personal reasons) but hes been called by his middle name since he was born. He was confused when a doc called him by his real name but I told him when hes 18, he can change it wink
With school..hes known by his middle name anyway!

As for dd, I planned her name before I was pregnant and I love it (only because its my middle name) tongue
Only the spelling of DD2's name. But DP didnt want the name at all at first, so he told me if we use that name, he gets to choose the spelling. Now Im constantly telling him how we SHOULD have spelt it lol.
No i don't regret what we named our sons. The names we chose were what we both agreed on and we love the names.

I do know someone who says that because it was their second son and 3rd child that they didn't really care that it's not a nice name. They said they couldn't agree on the name so they just pick one. So i don't know if you can say they regret it or not.

Nope!

I couldnt imagine my daughter having any other name!!
I do, unfortunately. I've started to really dislike how common my sons name is and I often think that he's going to hate it when he's older. His name is Jayden. I have 3 friends whose sons are: Jaden, Kayden and Brayden. It's a little annoying now.

Jayden's last name is both mine and DF's hyphenated. So it's way too long.

On a positive note his name suits him though grin
Not for one second! I love ds's name

dh and I were still deciding on boy/girl names and we both didn't agree on what each other had suggested. When ds arrived early we weren't prepared with names! I was just being brought back into the recovering room & dh was waiting for me. He said 'we're naming our son....' It was one of the names I had chosen that he didn't really agree on. Awww I was so happy smile

Nope. DS is named after a nickname that DF used to call me. I love it and he really suits his name!
Not with my first two, but i wish i had put more thought into my third baby's name sad
The middle name of my DD I wish we had not used it and kept it incase we have another DD.

Just use it anyway! My older brother is Thomas Joseph and my younger brother is Joseph Sebastian. It has never been a problem, they are both kind of stoaked about it (in fact my older brother and his wife are expecting their first and have said if it is a boy then they are thinking of naming him Sebastian - which makes a bit of a funky family tradition!)
