would this make you mad? Rss

well my DS is normally a good little boy but he is starting to assert his opinion (to say the least)
yesterday I took my DS shopping and he is going through this stage of pushing EVERYTHING so I was going to get him a small trolley to push around but didn't have my license on me so I couldn't (changed the rules as people stole the toddler trolleys) which I didn't know

anyway I let him push the big one because I had promised him but I held on to it too which he was fine with to begin with but then he decided he didn't want mummy to touch and started chucking a tantrem I gave him a few warning and said if this continues I won't let you push well it continued so I held him and did the rest of my shopping which he was tantreming anyway the checkout woman said I can see him doing community service when he was older I was absolutely shocked with that comment and said somethings as I stormed out
I know he isn't an angel but I do say that is normal kids behaviour too but Icertainly didn't like the comment either

sorry for the long post but was thinking would that annoy you too?

Oh my gosh yes!! I would be so p!ssed!!

My DD is the same when we go shopping... The other day she was getting bored (in her stroller while we were out shopping) so I let her out and said hold onto your stroller, so she took it to help pushing it around... (with me holding onto it) the same thing, she wanted to be miss independant and wouldn't let me help... So she threw a tantrum and went back into the stroller.
OMG! I think most people here have probably been on the receiving end of undeserved comments from interfering people at some point, but this is about the worst one I have ever heard! Yep, it certainly would make me mad! That is an incredibly rude thing to say.

You should report her to the Manager just to be a b*tch. I'm thinking there's no way any Manager would find that acceptable.
yeah i would be too its very normal behaviour i think

That was rude of her to say. And i would be maded too

Kids get tired and they want to be able to do things and get angry that they can't.

I've being letting my oldest son help push the pram around with his brother in it. Just say people get out of your way when they see a toddler pushing it. He does well with it but gets cranky if one of the wheel lock and yells out Oh No.

We haven't got them trolley for kids in our store but little master being helping me put things into our trolley.

Don't listen to them, he just had enough and he probably be very good on your next shopping trip and if you see that lady make a point how good he being.

thanks everyone,

my mum said she is probibly an old biddy trhat has never had children or she would know they have those days but next time I am taking my license so he can have his as he don't mind me touching the flag thingy and is good

Id be like wait to you have kids! and be chucking frozen peas at her lol.
What an awful biatch! If it's any consolation DS is surely going to end up in Jail with his antics at shopping centres laugh
Baby chain gang, will be needing one with how many babies throw tantrums.

Surely this woman hasnt had kids of her own!!! If she had she would know that kids this age have their moment such as this which I consider a pretty normal part of their development!!!!

If its not then there are gonna be a lot of kids I know doing community service when they grow up including my own! laugh
That's a pretty disgraceful thing to say to anyone! I would be so mad about it. Report it to the store manager.

Mum says that older people forget what it's like to have kids unless their grandkids are around them alot.

But still people can be so rude.
Hope this isn't upsetting you anymore.

Totally unnecessary comment! All toddlers (im sure) have their moments of tanties!

Apart of having a toddler is the tantis that they throw!
A toddler has to deal with and of course mummy all these new emotions and situations so of course there will be breakdowns I wish opinionated people would understand this.
The comment was harsh and very uncalled for I can't believe some one could even think of that let alone say it out loud angry
Absolutely it would make me mad angry All little ones have their moments and for her to say something like that is completely rude.
thank ou all you made me feel better grin I just felt she was so rude and it hurt me that someone said it about my boy so I got my back up

That comment wasn't called for .

If anyone said that to me about my son or daughter I would be differently be reporting the cashier.

I work in retail field on maternity leave. That kind comments taken seriousLy by mangerment .

Please report this person so she doesn'tthink that her comment about your child is appreciable.

Hope you report her
By name
Register she was on
Time it happen.

Lets is know what happens when she's reported
I agree that the comment was uncalled for and completely out of line. But, I'm a big believer of not sweating the small stuff. Does it really matter what this small minded ignorant checkout lady thinks? Not at all. Shrug it off and move on.
What a nasty old lady!!! Hope she didnt ruin your day too much honey!!!
or you could have said "YES i want him to be just like DADDY" to shock her silly old biddy ways,! piss you off ...
