I know this has being done before but i never replied because little master never stuck anything up his nose till the other night.

He must of cough or sneezed and we notice he was trying to wipe his nose on my pillow i ask him what he was doing and had a close look. Hubby had to hold him and i thought it was snot but hubby had to get it out with twisers and it was a piece of ham.

Ask little master how the ham got up his noise and he said he cough and even did the actions.

So what your child put up their nose.

it was a pea when he was 3. we didnt know til 4 days later when he sneezed at the bank and it shot out.
now he's 15 and looks like he permanently has something up his nose cos he has his septum pierced ewww. lol

My DS shoved a peanut up his nose grin

He wouldn't let me get it out so I took him to the doc who couldn't so we had to go up to the hospital and possibly have surgery to remove it.... he put it so far up it was stuck.

My Dh and 3 nurses ended up holding him down with a sheet wrapped around him while I stood in the waiting room trying not stay calm and go run in with fists flying....he was screaming but they got it out.

So it ended well but I really hope that he never sticks anything up his nose again.

DD1 stuck a popcorn seed up her nose. She was talking casually one day and just through it into conversation that she had a seed up her nose. I looked and sure enough it was there. I just made her blow her nose really hard and covered the other nostril and it shot out. smile

My DS has never yet stuck anything up his nose (yet.....) but my younger sister when she was maybe 4 or 5??? decided to stick rose petals up her nose so she could smell them. The rose petals got stuck and had to get taken out by the doctors.

My youngest has a fascination with sticking food up her nose, she especially likes minced meat!
She started a few months ago, and I have to watch her very carefully now, especially at dinner time (that seems to her fave time to do it). Occasionally though, I don't realise she's done it, then the next day she'll start sneezing and out comes some food - 3 tiny pieces of carrot came out once!! It can't feel nice, I have no idea why she does it!!

ds1 is the only one to have done this with a bit of lego
