so im not very computer savy or anything put i need to put some songs on an mp3. is there anywhere other than itunes preferably somewhere free

I have used BigPond music and Bandit - neither of them are free but they are good. I have tried a free sharing website a long time ago but got scared off by all the viruses. I think they've been shut down since.

the only music download store I have used is Nokia music store ( music.ovi.com), not free though, you pay about $1.50 per track (can also buy full albums) but you can use the music on your pc, any mp3 device, mobile, ect, and it doesnt expire so can be used/copied as many times as you like.
In saying that, I dont download music all that often, I still prefer to buy CD's! <span class="emoticon grin">grin</span>

thanks i think ill just pay for them, the idea of viruses scare me too. im not into buying cd's bit ds isnt coping with the noise of shopping centres anymore so im hoping some music on an mp3 will make it a bit easier for him and therefore me

imesh is a free and safe site..u have to install it but its easy to use and virus free...just turn of the chat feature as alot of desperate and sometimes rude men on there looking for a hook up.

Is this site just for mac, or can it be used for pc aswell?

I get all my music from You tube and use www.listentoyoutube.com to convert the URL into a file. Easy as and free
