Has anyone else had inconsiderate posties? angry
Mini vent
Okay, so ive been waiting for dds dvd to arrive in the mail. Yep, I got it today. So instead of the postie putting it in my letterbox or walking to the front door..he THROWS it at the front door! Luckily the dvd is fine but still! angry

Pretty sure he isn't allowed to do that.
Wasn't there something in the news recently about a postie doing somehting like that and got the sack? Minds like a sieve but there's something vague in my mind about that.
Moron. That purely comes down to absolutly no respect for anyones things. Even if they were letters or anything i wouldn't just THROW them. Throwing someones personal effects/letters/things is a huge display of disrespect.
Can you put in a complaint about it?

I told my df and said I should make a complaint but I dont know how to go about it. I mean, wouldnt I need proof? I dunno sad
Jacka$$, I just want to throttle him <img src='http://www.huggies.com.au/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' />
A few months ago, I ordered 6dvds and when I opened the satchel bag and despite being bubblewrapped..the dvd cases were shattered so I had to buy new casings.
Grrrr!

Your local postal service is incredibly lacking. Very rarely we have a problem like that here. I am going to assume our postal people are more respectful.
If it a courier or actual postie? If it's a postie, esentially the same guy that drives around on the bike and sometimes van, then complain at your local post office. Even without proof if enough people complain then steps will be taken to speak to the postie. if it's a courier service you'll have to get the name of it and complain to the company. In letter or phone call.
One time i had awful service from Toll, they wrote some not nice stuff on a box they were suppose to deliver to me and forgot to take the note off when i received it. I comaplained to the Toll service themselves, rang them up. But i was too timid back then and for what they wrote i ought have got a full apology in writing but i didn't push hard enough and they swept it under the table. Firmness is the key to life.

That's shocking. Whether or not it was damaged is not the point, its that they were so disrespectful. I would be writing in to let them know how their staff behave.
I had a run in with a courier driver at work. He was always rude, disrespectful, demanding, rough and generally not nice to deal with. Well after I had a go one day after a particular incident involving one of my customers he became 10x worse. Wish I had have gone straight to his boss with my issues. That way it would have been anonymous and he wouldn't have taken a personal vendetta against me lol.
I changed jobs soon after and it just so happened that he delivered to my new work too!!! arrgghhh.

Definately a postie. angry
Make a complaint because what happens if it was damage. You shouldn't have to put up with that.
Check their site, it may something.
Glad it wasn't damage.
The only bad thing that they did was they put a parcel right near the garage door at my parents and my dad was trying to open the door wondering what was going on. So i went & check and found his model aeroplane (that will brake if dad got it the door up). Dad rang them & told them what happened. They offered to pay for any damage. Don't remember any but dad end up paying extra for the parcels to be brought to the front door.

I rang up AustPost customer relations and they told me to go to one of the outlets but I rang them instead. So they told me to ring CR which I said I already have, and basically all they said to me is they have no forms to make a complaint but will let them know. OK..whatever. roll eyes
So im going to email them instead.

Wow that is pretty crappy, I work for Aust Post and yeah ok putting in a customer complaint for won't change the fact what he has done but it will make HR aware of the kind of people they employ, just call into the next Post Office you are near and ask for a green customer complaint form or if you like I go back to work on Wednesday and I can post you one, all you need is the time, date and address of when it happened and they will be able to pinpoint who the postie is. smile

I sent them a complaint email with the time of day/date wink
Wow! This happened to me this morning.
A close friend brought ds some thomas trains and a train set and sent it up for his birthday in 2 weeks.
Well anyways it was the guy that works for the post office and he drives around in his van and delivers the bigger items.
He yelled out delivery and chucked it from out bottom stair (there is 5 of them) it was he heard me say coming that he ran and picked it up and handed it to me. angry
And it had written on it FRAGILE.. what an idiot.
