gluten free diet Rss

Hi just wondering if there are any other breastfeeding mums out there who cannot eat gluten products.
I feel constantly hungry and wonder what you eat that helps to fill you up.
I was breastfeeding whilst on a GF diet. I ate corn thins, fruit, cheese and ham toasties, GF muesli bars, eggs, salad, chicken and mince dishes - these were the main healthy things I ate but to be honest I was always hungry. Nothing ever filled me up!

Im on a GF diet & combined feed DD... Im always hungry too, But I find I eat a lot of Rice based meals & Country Life bread (from Woolies) in the low GI variety seems to help, I also snack on bananas & Frankfurts.. My latest craving is Corn Chips with Pate & Brie cheese... Dont ask me why Im craving this one though... Its just plain wierd but it keeps me full tongue
Being on a gluten free diet can be a hassle. I myself have had problems with it (as well as soy) for a long period of time (13 years). Most doctors feel there's no cure or remedy for celiac disease or gluten sensitivity.

I gave into a wedding cake recently (even though I'm coeliac) and was sick for over 2 weeks. I could hardly walk 3 hours after eating it... unsure

Hmm... Well,

On the other hand, a solution that's even better than the gluten free diet seems to now be here! Might want to check out the comments and make up your own mind but from what I've seen it's a very effective treatment that your young ones may benefit from too, once they're ready for solids! smile
