When did you stop counting in weeks for bubs age? Rss

with both babies i count in weeks till 12weeks then go by months...i sort of remember the weeks up until 16weekish tho

at the moment i seems to know alot of mums through mums groups and past friends on facebook who have babies similar age to my bub- almost 5months, and quite a few of them are still counting in weeks but the more weird thing about it is they turn those weeks to months wrong (20weeks= 5months, 24weeks=6months) i thought this was strange as their child is going to end up turning 12months 2months early at this rate haha and they are getting needles according to this logic...so 6month needles 2 and a half weeks early!

just thought it was strange thats all smile

Yeah, once i got to the three month mark i was counting in months otherwise there was too much thinking involved when people asked how old they were laugh

Yep I go to roughly 12weeks then monthly smile haha if the mums do it for long enough- they'll be legal at 17 laugh

yeah I'm the same, Now I just say DS is nearly 5 months

however I noticed that they just count 8 weeks between the 4 month and 6 month immunisations???

I was thinking this yesterday. Everyone keeps asking how old my little one is and he is 11 weeks, was curious as to when to change it to months smile

Although it says on my ticker that he is 10 weeks and 4 days..... He was 11 weeks on wednesday.....hmmmm

That's good to know about the immunisations!! I thought they couldn't get the 6month one earlier then 6months but at least the have gone 8weeks!

I just find it annoying.... I know I know.... There is bigger things to worry about but it's still annoying that they announcing 'happy 6months' when really their bub is only 5and a half months...

Yep I need to find a hobby haha

Yeah when I took DS for his 4 month ones the nurse counted up the 8 weeks and then said he had to come for 6 months after that date.
