baby #2 on the way...?? Rss

Have you managed to do a test yet? Honestly once the second one arrive you won't even remember what it was like with just one. My girl was 8 months when I found out I was pregnant with no. 2.

Good luck smile

no STILL havent managed to do a test sad had an unexpected accident with DP last night n spent the night waiting for him at eh hospital.. hopefully i can get it done this afternoon when DD is in a better mood to run to the shops..
the suspense is killing me!
Doing a test tonight... Wish me luck ladies!
Good luck bet your nervous smile Let us know the results smile
My 2nd child was 6 months when I fell pregnant with number 3. It was much sooner than we expected, but I wouldn't change it. We have a 6 year gap between 1 and 2, so the 14 month gap was a huge suprise. It's crazy busy, but you turn around and suddenly they're not babies anymore and it's all a little easier. Good luck with your result - the anticipation must be killing you.
Im here to report that i did a test the other night and it was negative.
....Im actually a lil sad over it.....
Well at least you know and can now decide when the time is right to add to your family. If you are sad then at least you know that you do want more smile. It's hard to see a negative when you have already worked yourself up for the outcome of a positive.

i think DP was a lil sad over it too.. he said he was relieved but the rest of the night he seemed gloomy and kept talking about if we would ever have another baby..

i guess its a sign that there's more lil tiny feet in my future smile
Awww that's exciting something t look forward too and plan smile
Sounds like this whole thing has helped you both work out what you do want to do. Something to look forward to smile
My boys are 11 months apart and it is quite frustrating having to deal with a newborn and toddler at the same time. My oldest is 1 in a few days and my youngest is 3 weeks old so as you can imagine, im a very busy mummy. Im always feeling guilty because I spend most of my time with my newborn. But on the bright side, they'l grow up as (pretty much) twins lol and hopefully be as close to each other as their age gap. Its not as bad as it seems, and if you do end up being pregs, you have 9months to prepare yourself smile

And yes, lesson learnt! I'm definetly going on birth control lol

Congratulations! My two kids are 23 months apart, so I can't give you any first hand knowledge, but I have had quite a few friends that have small gaps (one is 13 months difference) - most have been planned, one was a breastfeeding accident.
Think of the positives....your kids will be close in age, and probably very close friends too! The experience will be fresh in your memory, so you'll remember much faster what works in a situation and what doesn't.
You'll be fine. If my friends can do it, you can too!
P.S think of it this way....you may have a longer time of interrupted sleep, but at least you'll be able to get it over and done with....(It's much harder when you've gotten used to sleep and then it is 'taken away" again!)
