Ahhh peace and quiet, love it Rss

Three kids are sleeping just done a little housework had a snack and sitting down enjoying the peace. Expecting one of the twins to wake up soon though, always happens.

What does everyone else do when kids have a sleep? Somedays I get housework done and other days I flab out on the couch with the tv.

I'm hoping my 2 year old son doesn't decide to cut out his sleeps anytime soon. How old were your kids when they stopped having day sleeps?

Pretty useless post but I'm bored and don't want to do anymore housework lol

My DD is sleeping, and DH is doing some work on the course he is doing... I am sitting here on huggies, eating a late lunch...
Usually i get most of my work done while DD is awake, when she is asleep i spend most of the time on my computer :s Sometimes i get lots of housework done and make dinner...

Hope you have a boring afternoon with all your little ones sleeping smile

my DS soesn't have naps anymore its very rare that he does he stopped a few months back cant remember the age 20 months maybe who knows and when he used to i used to do a combo of jst chilling and cleaning lol it was nice to have the break but now he goes to bed early and thats always the way hey hopefully they all stay asleep

Spoke to soon about them all staying asleep. One of the twins just woke so now she is laying on floor having a bottle. Her sister will probably wake up soon as well.
Glad to know I'm not the only one that gets slack when the kids are sleeping lol.

It depends on what time of day it is. During DS's morning nap I am quite productive and try and get everything done, in the afternoon nap I tend to just have a rest as its usually only 30min or so. When he goes to bed in the evening I usually try and spend an hour or so having 'me' time then its usually dinner time, some study etc. I usually clean up just before I go to bed because I like everything being all lovely and tidy when I get up in the morning lol.
Lately, the second I put him to bed and sit down though my phone rings, or someone texts me wanting me to do something for them... Lol I've stopped answering and hope people get the picture that just after DS's bedtime is not a good time to contact me!

I'm sooooo jealous... I can't get two kids to sleep at the same time during the day, how you get 3 is a miracle! Well done, I would be drinking for that achievement...lol
My ds (15 months) normally has a good morning nap then a crappy 10min catnap in the arvo. Lol. If I have worked all night (I do night shift sun and mon nights) then I sleep while he naps. So mon and tues is sleeping. We'd thurs and fri I try cook dinner in the morning (eg make lasagne, freeze some, and put one in fridge so all I have to do in evening is put in the oven). And any extra time I get beyond that I do my own thing (lately it has been working on my cv and researching flights etc for our holiday) but bits and bobs like that if I have time from the morning nap and if he has an arvo one. Over the weekend when dd is home we play card games (me dd and dh) or dh and I work on things we need to do together (again, discussing holiday is the top one at mo. Lol.) other big thing I do once or twice a week while he naps is the ironing. But I don't mind that as I get to sit and watch tv while I do it. smile

Ds is a light sleeper so doing washing, tidying, or running water to do dishes all wake him so we generally do them while he is up, or after he goes to bed at night (sleeps much better at night!) so our evenings the first hour or so after the kids are in bed dh and I generally spend tidying the house, then we normally watch something together. smile
