Who's on today and what are you doing?

It's so SLOW on here lately! It's not fun at all! sad

Well after the worst luck in the world yesterday I'm just hanging around waiting for problems to be fixed. On the weekend our front door jammed shut and we couldn't get it open, so first thing yesterday I called the door people to fix it and they said they could get here after lunch, but they'd call me to confirm. That's fine, I could go out the back door. So I left the house and got into town, then realised my phone had died & wouldn't even turn on. I had an eye appointment which I had to go to, so I dropped both kids at mum (my dd is sick) went to that then raced home to let the cleaner in. Low and behold.... the BACK door lock was broken, which meant I couldn't get into my house at all! So with minimal supplies I am stuck at my mums house with a phone that wont work.

I went to the telstra shop and got a new phone, had to pay out my contract as my phone had 6 months left on it. $260.

They eventually got me into the back door by 5pm, but couldn't fix the front door.

So today they have returned, taken the door off and promised to return in an hour. Well it has been about 3 hours and no sign of them, so I am in my house with no door. And I have no idea if they'll be back before I have to pick up dd.

SO. That is my day, it's crap. lol

Surely tomorrow will be better! On the upside I love me new phone. smile

Holy Moly Chalys! I have never heard in my life of 2 doors breaking on the same day!! lol
Its one of those write off days where so much happens it can only be funny!

My day is alright thanks! We are about to go out to get hay and go to the shops. We all have colds so it will be a quiet one.

You sure have had some bad luck - I hope the door guys are back real soon. Is your husband able to come home if they aren't back before school finishes?

My day has been boring as usual, have done the usual cleaning, playing and school and kinder runs. I bought myself an epilator on the weekend, so I also used that this morning...exciting!! happy

They're always there when you need them smile Surely doorman wont leave you much longer with no door! If they take too long just call them back & tell them you're gonna need someone to stand in the doorway while you go pick your dd up lol.
What kind of phone did you get? Im at the end of my contract & its time for an upgrade.

My days been average. Took DD1 to her swimming lesson, then spent the rest of the day cleaning. Mostly doing load after load of washing. Hopefully I still have energy to cook dinner tonight lol

It is getting rather dull around here. Need something to spice things up abit. Like a debate without posts being edited/deleted lol

Oh man that sucks! Fx it all gets fixed for you soon. Well after very little sleep due to heartburn and nausea I'm at work getting on with it. I had 57 emails this morning and now down to 2 unread so I'm getting somewhere slowly! I'm determined to stick out slow huggies too.

I'm here... I think. Both DS and I are sick, and I'm getting sick of it.

All pretty quiet here after a couple days away. DS hardly sleeps when out, so he's catching up today!

Seems that everybody is sick lately. Our household has been too.

So who has a good idea for a debate then? All the debates have been done to death and we need some fresh ideas!

Athaye - epilators..... OUCHY!!!! Not for me, I used one often years ago and it hurts more than waxing! Hubby can never knock off early so I'm not sure what I'm going to do if they're not back within the next hour, will have to give them a call soon I think. Plus my house is FREEZING! Not much point turning the heater on!

I got an iphone 4S white with one. I was wanting to get the iphone 5 but I can't really hang out with no phone - we don't have a home phone so it's kind of a necessity!

Nothing quite like the smell of fresh hay oc, love it - smells so country! grin

What do you do Nai&beau? I don't like the sound of your job! lol Did you actually reply to all of those??

Yep, it is a bit ouchy, but not as bad as I was expecting (I do have a very high pain tolerance though). I can't wax, my legs/skin don't like it - shaving had been causing heaps of irritation lately too, so I thought I'd give the epilator a go...all good so far!

I'd be giving the door guys a call now, tell them you have to go out - if they said an hour, it should be an hour, especially when you don't have a door!

Well that's a crappy day if ever there was one! I hope they turn up with your door soon! I'm sure tomorrow will be better for you smile

My day has been very nice. I went with my dad to pick up my mum form the airport. She's been to China and North Korea over the past two weeks and I have really missed her. We had a lovely catch up and I looked at all of her photos. Of course she's come back with heaps of things for the baby smile I've just got back home and I'm thinking about what to cook for DH's dinner before we go to our first antenatal class tonight!

It's so quiet here - on huggies and irl! - both boys are in bed so thought I'd jump on huggies for a bit .

We went to playgroup this morning - DS1 was in a mood, did not want to share anything so was in a bit of a grump.

Ive been trying to avoid iphones lol. Everyone has one now! Im thinking about the latest nokia. Ive always been happy with nokias smile
