Anyone who owns a cat ( read this please)

We just rush our little cat into the vet with a tick bite.
Hubby was able to get the whole tick off him but meow (his nickname) legs where wobbly. And he lot his hungry

The vet giving him a tick bath & will shave abit of his fur.
The next 24 hours are critical

My question is how will he go the next 24 hours & how do i tell my boys what going on.
All I've said is the meow not well & the vet going to try & make meow better.

Pray that he pulls threw because little master loves his cat & he be so upset if we lose meow.

Im not sure how your cat will go but I hope he pull's through very sad for your boys sad

We rang the vet twice this afternoon & meow had his treatment and we know more in the morning but they did say he on the good sided of good at the moment. We maybe able to bring him home tomorrow afternoon but it depends on how he goes.

Little master calls him meow and been looking for him. I had little man with me when we took him & he was giving meow smiles.

The treatment for the tick cost $200 and hubby worried about the rest of the treatment & been there.
It's very weird to be home and he not waiting at hubby office door to be let in.

I wanted to go & see meow but hubby said wait till tomorrow then we all go & see him.

Sounds like he is doing well, try and have a good sleep tonight and go see him tomorrow xxx

The vet rang us before to update us. Meow is doing good and he be checking on him at 11 tonight then again at 7 tomorrow morning & if he need he will go in during the night. Fingers cross no more drama with our meow.
We even said a prayer with the boys for a great recovery.
Meow going to get so spoiled when he comes home.

He thinks if Meow keeps doing really well, we might bring him home tomorrow but have to wait to see how meow is doing. They don't want to rush him home if something happens.

The boys are happy at the moment they be more happy when they see meow

UPDATE

Meow will be home some time today, has soon has he pees he will be aloud home. Meow hates the vets at the moment, will not let them touch him for too long. Hope he happy to see us when we get him home.

My oldest is happy knowing we go and get him. Just hope meow ready for kisses.

I let you know what the vet says when we pick him up.

Can't wait

Meow is home. He peed this morning & they never rang us. I rang them at 1 p.m and they said yes he peed this morning. So got both boys in the car pick up my mum and rush to get him.

And the vet said we have to give meow small feeds and watch in incase he has trouble swallowing any food or water.

Plus the bill was alot cheaper than hubby thought.

Only problem is Meow wants to go outside but vet said no due to a chance he may fall down and can't get himself home or back into our work office plus the sun will effect him.

He let the boys touch him and little master wanted to kiss him but hubby said not today incase he gets cranky.
