How many pregnancy tests did you take before you finally believed you were pregnant?

Im never late with my period so i knew the next day. I now it sounds stupid but when i say im never late i mean never ever. So i took the test and it came back positive first test i took. I went to the Dr's that week and took another test and i had a very high reading. It is nerve recking waiting until you have that first scan hay. Even though i knew i was pregnant it was still hard to actually believe it until the scan, so try and sit tight. smile smile smile

With DS I took 3 as despite being maybe 6 or 7 weeks the first was negative and a few days later the second was only a faint positive. about a week later the third was still just a faint positive. I don't actually remember having blood tests but I am sure that I had them.
I don't think I actually believed it until my 12 week scan tbh!!! I cried and cried lol the sonographer must have thought I was bonkers.

With DD1 I took 1 on the way to a friend's place one night to make sure I wasn't pregnant as DH and I had just decided after trying for a month to wait 12 months and oops already pregnant. 1 more the next morning came back really quick and dark and that was it, one in the docs came up straight away. Told everyone at 7 weeks and didn't even have a scan until 10 weeks.

DD2 I took 3 tests which were all very faint and took ages to come up. The one in the docs came up negative so off for a blood test but I knew it was all good.

DS1 still cooking I took a ebay cheapie, saw a faint line, panicked, drove straight to the chemist, bought probably 4 more, did all those which were all positive, bought a digital and a couple more and were all positive and used the last few ebay cheapies I had left as well LOL yeh I didn't believe it tongue I also like seeing that 2nd line come up smile

My first son just the 1 test. Hubby knew before i took the test.

2nd son about 10 or more. I just knew i was and i was taking the test like they where going out of fashion until 2 very dark lines came up.

With DS I tested at 6 weeks so it was very dark and I was quite confident that I had been knocked up smile With this pregnancy I tested the day before I missed my period so it was light but was def there. So I tested again and again. 3 tests later I was sure!

I just took another digital test. Pregnant, 2-3 weeks, making me 4-5 weeks (spot on) smile The one I took Wednesday said 1-2 so im progressing, finally i may be able to put my mind at ease... With DD i didn't feel any cramping or anything at all, this time I have, is that normal??

I took 3! I couldn't believe I was pregnant seeing as I took the morning after pill, but all 3 tests came up positive, that's when the shock set in, I couldn't believe my life was about to change so dramatically! I went to the doctor and sure enough I was 5 weeks along, had my scans, at 10 & 12 weeks which had to be the longest thing I've waited for all my life, and saw my healthy, happy and fully formed jumping jellybean, even though it was not expected I couldn't be happier smile

Three! Two of them were the "First Response" paper strips which both came back with 2 strong dark lines then the following day used the "Clear Blue" test and it came up "Pregnant 3+" which makes me 5+ weeks! I'm going to see the doctor this week to confirm but I have had all the symptoms except the nausea at this stage (am hoping to avoid it!). Very exciting!

With DD, i took 3! i was in a massive shock and didnt believe it!

This time i took 6, but only cause we were trying and i was waiting for a thicker line!!! I wasnt convinced until i bought the better tests!!!
