Jessica Seinfeld rocks! Rss

Ive wanted to try some things from her book for a long time. She made it look so good on the Oprah show lol. Good to know the recipes are worth it smile Must admit though, Id have to strip my daughter bare before I gave her anything with beetroot in it hahaha i dont trust that stuff.

DD1's pretty good with all vegies, but DD2 wont touch anything!! And when she does occasionally try some, it just comes straight back out. The only way we've been trying really is finely grating/processing & putting into sausage rolls, spaghetti, hamburgers, pretty much ANYTHING it can hide in lol.
Oh I've got a vegiephobe here I'll have to get that book, sounds good.

I might have to get this book for ideas to get my DH to eat his veges! laugh He only eats potato, pumpkin, carrot & broccoli! DD is a better vege eater than he is!!

ARBONNE - Pure, Safe, Beneficial! PM me for information smile

My kids eat fresh fruit and veges but I'd love them to eat more. Just bought the book on bookdepository.co.uk for $10.61 with free shipping worldwide. I love a bargain lol.
I might have to get this book myself. Even DH is a shocker for not eating his veggies!
Edited to add : Just ordered one from the book depository uk Thank you for the heads up

I just ordered one too .Ds1 at 12 is a shocker, the faces he pulls when eating mashed potato and he hates tomatoes/saucy things so if I can make a pumpkin cake haha to him!

mum of 3 boys aged 10, 11 and 13

Another good blog for vegie smuggling is

www.vegiesmugglers.com.au

She has 2 cookbooks as well and I find the recipes excellent! (I have both cook books) and very adaptable for adults as well.

Feeding fussy kids (by antionia kidman and julie wood) is a great book too!

ooh thanks! I'll check it out. I feel bad that my kid has a crap diet but it isn't for lack of effort or bad example. And i know a slice of pumpkin cake is not really a proper serve of veg, but it's better than none at all. An I am trying to make every bite count - if he's into sausages I buy good ones from the butcher, If I make biscuits and pancakes I use unbleached flour and combine it with buckwheat for better nutritional value. And so on.
Just as well I like cooking! Vegie smugglers unite!

Sounds like the feeding fussy kids book might be great for you (I borrowed it from my local library) they have lots of ideas for making every mouthful count.

Happy vegie smuggling!
