Worst mother awards.. Rss

What have you done that you're not supposed to do?

My baby is currently asleep on a pillow... I've shaped my body pillow like a u-pillow to prop him up because of his coughing, he's been getting quite distressed being sick. So far he has been asleep for 3 hours so I think he's enjoying it! I'm feelin paranoid though... Ive left His door open and I keep checking him every 5 minutes!

Can you prop the basinette or cot up a bit instead?
Not having a go, just a suggestion. I propped ds basinette up with a phone book when he had his first cold.
My DS2 has a toy in his cot - it's a little musical puppy and he sometimes cuddles it when he goes to sleep - I know that's meant to be a no no til they're one...

no nutella for breakfast and/or school lunches

mum of 3 boys aged 10, 11 and 13

Yes I will do something like that for tonight dust, just being day time I thought I'd make him super comfy while I can watch him. Won't be doing it overnight I promise! smile

I'm currently sitting in the Maccas carpark about to eat some chips whilst ds sleeps in the back. Only way I could get him to sleep! So many more I'm sure!

Not watching DS (17mths) in the store and finding him outside only two small people steps from the road with heaps of traffic. Bad mother award!

Wasn't there to catch ds when he first started pulling up & didn't realise he couldn't just let go & didn't know how to fall down bum first so he got a big bump on the back of the head & bruise across his face from landing on his toys.
Also he has day naps in his rocker which he is way too big for now but he won't settle any other way! It's a big problem now so trying to make him a bean bag instead but wish I could get him to settle in is cot.

i know theres heaps but cant really think of anything lol

letting isaiah go to sleep on the couch laying with me then moving him to bed a few hours later

Looked down to put one foot into my undies - look up to see DD diving off the bed head first sad man did I feel bad! I caught her.. as she hit the floor. CRINGE!

DS was having a terrible day teething, the only way I could get him to settle was on a 'U' shape pillow in bed with me. Got a few hours much needed rest for both of us and DS woke up much better!

I did this a while ago when DD2 was sick. I propped her up in her cot for her day naps on a pillow. She is also a tummy sleeper so had to keep checking that she hadn't rolled onto her tummy.

We went to the park this morning and had a big play and swim and then went to maccas and DD1 drank a whole frozen grape drink. Sugar high anyone grin. Dd2 fell asleep without eating lunch. That is only from today, I could go on and on. smile
