Moving to Rockingham

Hi

I will be moving to Rockingham from Adelaide in December, would like to know what there is to do in the area and also about the Dr's Dentist, pretty much everything.

I am 27, defence wife, I have a 1 year old DS and another due in June, I have booked into Attadale private hospital, with Dr Simon Clarke as my OB.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, just a couple of questions first, where abouts in Rockingham? My family doc is good, but no use to you if you are on the other side of Rocky! (Im in Port Kennedy).

As For what to do, we finally have a decent shopping centre, new movies and great beaches. Rocky Foreshore is a great place for kids as the beach is really calm, there is a huge park area and lots of little cafes. We also have Fun Station- a kids indoor play area- which can be handy!

There are also lots of "little" shopping areas i.e. have a big supermarket (Woolies or Coles) and then the specialty shops.

There is Rocky Hospital and well as Waikiki Private (no maternity ward though) and then Peel Health Campus in Mandurah. They are re doing Rocky so there is construction going on and the usual wait at emergency like any hospital.

Have you been to Attadale hossy before? I haven't delivered there, but have visited a few people and they rave about it!
