Hi, I just signed up as member and saw that you're looking to meet mums in Hurstville. I'm in Hurstville, don't have a car either, so know it can be difficult to move around. I'm meeting with another mum on thursdays in westfield around lunch time for a chat and drink and trying to get the babies to socialise, you're welcome to join in. Our babies are 8 and 10 months each. The more the merrier!

I go to a Mums group run through the Early Child Health Centre, but have only half clicked with a couple of the mums there. And I'm going to miss it for the fourth week in a row this week coming 'cause I'll be in Newcastle.

I am in Roselands too and would be keen to meet up. I've been trying to join a mothers group through the early child health centre but I keep being told I am on a waiting list. Which centre did you go through?

I went through Hurstville ECHC, but didn't ask if I could come along. I heard from a Mum on here about the group and just rocked up on my own behalf, haha! They welcomed me though.

I am also in the Bankstown area (Georges Hall), and I also found most of the mothers groups on here were out further west, and so was harder to get to.
I'd love to meet you, however, I am going back to work...........next week!

Just another thought for you too, if you are finding it hard to get into a mothers group or find one that 'fits'. I joined one in November which is run out of the local church hall, run by the ministers wife. It is very laid back and not really "clicky", so this might be another option for you too.

I called Punchbowl ECHC and the lady said there's one starting up on Tues 10th, so my names down on the call list for that. She said it would be Tuesday afternoons probably 2:30.
Hurstville ECHC runs their group then too. At the moment I'm going to their Young Bubs group for NB-12wks that's on Friday mornings from 10.

Bub was born 23/01 so just a few days older than your little one. I start MG through Earlwood ECHC from the 10th.

We should organise to meet up at Centro after the Easter long weekend (I'm going away).
