Hi ladies,

I'm 26 and have a 2 month old son! I've just moved to Greystanes and looking to meet other new mums around the area for play dates and a cuppa/ coffee smile!! Just joined a playgroup in parramatta, it starts in feb! I'm looking forward too meeting new ppl but would also like to meet mums living closer!

Also does anyone know any good long day care centres in Greystanes or wentworthville?

Hi there, Im Nikki, I am a stay at home mum to a 5mth old girl... I live in Greystanes, I would love to meet other Mums in the area too! I know there is a playgroup in Bathurst st, & there is also a daycare centre that has just opened up near my place, they are on Jason st, Not too sure if they are expensive or not but they start at $85 a day!!

Great to hear from you! I live not far from that new childcare centre too! I went to check it out last week, it seems ok but it doesn't have a qualified early childhood teacher employed there yet! Unfortunately I'm going back to work in May sad as im a primary teacher and that's when my mat leave finishes so i have to find a long day care centre! Is the playgroup in Bathurst street Greystane Groovers? Do you go to a playgroup? I've met some nice girls through mothers group and we have just started going for coffee!

Hi there, Im not too sure what the Playgroup is called, I havent checked it out yet, My DHs Exwife mentioned it at Christmas & she OS at the moment so I havent had a chance to get all the details, I moved here about a year ago with DH & I know a few people but none with Bubbas so it would be great to meet more Mummys grin I will email you tonight (my Email is niklenz@live.com.au)

Will have a look for you, If not I can walk down & ask... Its a couple of doors down from my place... Im not overly impressed with it though... I know all kiddies cry but the kids that are there are screaming & crying all day long... Its concerning me a bit!!

Was walking the other day & 2 cars came (literally) screeching up beside me & an Indian Gent jumped out, Introduced himself as the owner & handed me a leaflet!!!! Lol Nikki the owner did the same thing to my partner.. Jumped put of the car & gave him a flyer!
I checked it out with my partner a week later!
They don't have a qualified Early childhood teacher employed there yet!! Which put me off a little as I'm a
Trained early childhood teacher & primary school trained and I believe it's important to have one there!
Quite small inside! They told me I would have to pay a bond to secure a spot for my son if I wanted him
to go there in May when I return to work! I'm going to shop around the area and check them all out before
I decide!

Hi Katherine, I was telling someone else the other day.. We are 2 doors down from them & the kids are screaming & crying all day!!!! My MIL even commented yesterday when she dropped around!!! Im sooooo tempted to check it out just to see what is going on!! I could be over reacting & it could be fine but it doesnt sound too great too me atm!!!

Really that's not good at all! We checked the centre out just before they closed bout 530ish so there were no kids there! I might have to go back middle of the day to get a real feel for the place!!!

It seems to be busy(ish) just before or around lunchtime.. I quite often walk then & see a few women dropping kids off.. While I think of it, The Soccer fields are on Bathurst st, Right next to the shops.. & Playgroup is at the back of them, They meet a couple of times a week so I will get on to it this week & let you know smile

Awesome that would be great if you could check it out and see what days they meet, if they take newcomers, cost etc smile
