Moving Rss

Hi guys.
Long time, No talk smile

So my partner, Son and I are really really thinking about moving to Newcastle NSW or around that area (Raymond Terrace, Anna Bay,)

I need your opions on the area, What suburbs are nice, Rent prices (Hopefully something under $250 per week, We are happy with a unit),

My mum lives up there so I know a Little but not much

Thanks Ladies x
I moved to newcastle a year ago...so i'm not great with suburbs execpt around my area and around the area's i work.

I don't know raymond terrace very well, as it's way out from where i am.

I'm around lake macquarie which i LOVE!! I am close to Charlestown shops (HUGE shopping centre) near Glendale Shops (big open shopping centre, they have aldi and stuff) close to redhead beach....about a 10min drive....yes someone was just attacked by a shark there haha

so I definately recommend lake macquarie area: Warners Bay, Eleebana, Valentine, Speers Point...these area's

places in newcastle to be weary of: Mayfield...some VERY dodgy parts, some parts of Hamilton, and also Windale!

I love newcastle....we've been very happy here smile

Hi,
Im from Newcastle way.
Where abouts did you have your heart set to move? More Newy or Anna bay/ Nelson bay?
Do you like to be near shops or you don't care?
Raymond Terrace is ok but its all about location there, some parts are pretty rough. But it has shops, doctors ect and only 10-15 mins to the big hospitals.

DS born 2010

Im in Port Stephens, half way between Raymond Terrace and Anna Bay/Nelson Bay.

I love it here! You should be able to find something in your price range, just depends how large a place you need, proximity to shops etc.
