I was just wondering if anyone buys or knows of where to buy cheap/bulk baby items
such as nappies and wipes ect. I'm so over spending so much on these items.

I'm a bargain hunter when it comes to nappies. I only used to use Huggies-that was it only Huggies. I know Toys r us have them on spec at the moment for $28 a box. No bulk seller will give you a better price. I found even buying in those big brownish boxes they still work out dearer. Try the A**i ones. They are the only ones I use now and I'm amazed at how good they actually are.

Have you tried Aldis nappies and wipes? They are 2nd to none in my opinion and great value for money.

Yeah I was using them but bub had abreaction to the wipes and now she is leaking through the nappies now they have changed them

I get bulk Huggies wipes in the green box and in my area I can only get these regularly at Big W (sometimes Safeway has them but not often). Today I paid a little over $18 for 320 when you pay $15 for 160 in Safeway/Woolworths. I only buy Huggies nappies too and I find that on average, Safeway/Woolies seems to be cheapest for the big boxes at $33 (locked in price). Today I paid $32.80 for the same box at Big W - saved 20 cents woohooooo!! laugh

I too tried buying the bigger Huggies nappies in the brown box but it worked out no cheaper.

Like others have said, bulk suppliers usually end up dearer.

I just wait until one of the major chains have a great deal and really stock up.

I know that you're in Melbourne but for an example, at the monent Coles in NSW has the huggies 240 pk wipes for $10, the bulk packs nappies (used to be equivellent to half a box but they have now added 10% extra to the boxes) But they are 2 for $26 which when you add 10% more to the cost, still only comes out to $28.60/box. Hope you can make sense of that! They also have nappy pants @ 2 for $30.

So today Df went and bought 6 packs of infant sized nappies as you can't get them in boxes, ten wipes and four packs of nappypants. We still have heaps of boxes in other sizes but thought we'd stock up on infant size etc...
