I'm a single mum and my son and i are reasonably new (Sept last year) to Melbourne and just before Christmas the now ex flatmate stole my laptop when he moved out, it got reported to the police including giving the police his contact details, but do you think anything was done - NOPE!

My laptop was my connection to my friends and family back home in NZ and i am totally lost without it!!

We also have no TV either, it's a struggle saving up for things like this expecially when stupid things like having to get wisdom teeth removed right after xmas pop up!!

So if anyone has or knows anyone that has an old laptop or TV hiding away in the garage that isn't being used and wants to get rid of it, please pm me and let me know. I would love to be in contact with everyone back home again and have something to do once my son has gone to bed.
